(On Windows 10, use Control Panel | Turn Windows features on or off instead of Server Manager and define only the features.) From a fresh Windows Server 2016, you will need to run through the process twice, as some of the features are not available until the required components have been installed. To verify that IIS is operating, open up any browser and paste http://localhost/; into the web address and press Enter. The Windows Internet Information Services Welcome page should load. If you do not see the Windows Internet Information Services Welcome page, then do not proceed. Your Expert Choice installation consultant may ask for a screenshot of your Windows Internet Information Services Welcome page.
